It has been one month into 2016 at Sid Dillon Hyundai and we have a new surprise for everyone. Hyundai has come out with a new look for one of their best selling models; the 2017 Elantra. We are very excited to introduce the Elantra to our customers here at Sid Dillon. The new compact car comes in two designs, an SE and the top-of-the-line Limited and in eight different colors. The 2017 Hyundai Elantra
has a new look to the front, with a wider hexagonal grill and multiple headlight options depending on which model you get. The available options are HID headlights with bending lights and vertical daytime running lights, which are firsts for the Elantra. The 2017 Elantra increases the engine size from a 1.8 Liter to a 2.0 Liter four cylinder engine with an automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual in the base SE model. Hyundai estimates that the new Elantra will reach near 29 mpg in the city, 38 on the highway, and 33 combined, giving it a little more mileage than the 2016 model.
Comfort and convenience are always two of the biggest aspects in buying a new car. The Elantra
has new interior that has a very nice look to it and is very comfortable for you as the driver, and if you have four other passengers along. Some other amenities inside the Elantra Limited include dual automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring, lane changing assistance, two USB inputs, power driver’s seat, and a proximity key with push button start.
The Driver Information System has an eight inch screen on the homepage you can customize the screen so it shows a map for navigation and also audio functions as well. It also comes standard with AM, FM and XM radio, Bluetooth options for your phone, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions and a back up camera as well. Also on the steering wheel are buttons to adjust the volume and station of your radio, answering and hanging up on a phone call, and cruise control.
Lastly we will hit on the affordability of the new 2017 Hyundai Elantra
. The Hyundai Elantra SE with a manual transmission starts out at $17,150. With an automatic transmission, the Elantra SE has a starting rate is $18,150, cheaper than it’s competitors by a few hundred dollars. Or you can bump up to the Hyundai Elantra Limited which starts out at an affordable $22,350.
